Charleston Fashion Week: A Dream Come True!

Three months later and my experience at Charleston Fashion Week's Emerging Designer Competition still feels like a dream.

Walking into the quiet, empty venue that morning, I had a rare moment to reflect. I was there to drop off hair accessories for the models, and the stillness of the space gave me time to truly soak it all in. Seeing my name on the dressing room door for Charleston Fashion Week’s Emerging Designer show, as well as my hair and makeup inspiration posted for the entire crew to see, felt overwhelming and surreal—a moment of gratitude for the growth of my fashion brand over the past 4 and a half years.

Growing my brand has been a series of leaps of faith, especially over the past few months. From moving to Charleston to designing my debut capsule collection, every step has been about embracing the unknown and trusting in the process. All those leaps culminated in an unforgettable runway debut at the Emerging Designers Competition.

Behind the Scenes

This experience wasn’t just about the designs but about the incredible people who made the event possible. From the talented hair and makeup artists to the amazing models and the hardworking production team, I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and inspiring group of people to work with.

The collection I showcased, Girl in Pink, tells a personal story—a reflection of my path over the past year. After spending seven years in Los Angeles, I returned home to Pennsylvania for the summer before starting a new chapter in Charleston in October. Each piece in the collection represents a part of this transition: starting with a sleek, New York-inspired aesthetic that nods to my northern roots, then softening into a lighter, southern coastal vibe, all while staying true to my signature vintage-inspired style.
