How do you make your garments?
All items are completely designed and handmade to order from scratch by me, Emily Westenberger. I start by making a design through paper patterns or draping fabric on a dress form. I will make a test fit garment and then make adjustments from there to create a final design.
How many employees do you have?
None, I run the brand on my own from posting on social media to designing new garments to sewing and fulfilling orders. :)
Is your brand ethical & sustainable?
I would never claim my brand to be 100% ethical and sustainable. I don’t believe any brand can be. However, each item is designed and handmade to order by me only at my home studio in sunny Los Angeles. Everything is completely made-to-order and made-to-measure - this means I hold absolutely no stock and only start sewing an item once it has actually been ordered. I do this in order to reduce any unnecessary waste and also to be able to cater to any shape or size. I purchase fabrics in small quantities to make sure I’m not over ordering to prevent excess waste. If you order a piece from me it is unique, made with so much care and love, and very limited in number.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, I do ship worldwide! Please see my shipping page for more info.
How long do orders take to be made and delivered?
This can all depend on demand – as everything is handmade to order by me only – there is no stock and everything is made from scratch once an order has been placed. I give a window of 1-3 weeks to create the garments before shipping them. You will be updated via email with tracking info once your item has been made and sent.
How should I care for my garments?
Due to the delicate nature of my items, I recommend all items to be hand washed, air dried and steam ironed, unless specified “Dry Clean Only” on the product page. Please do not bleach or tumble dry your pieces.
How do I order my correct size?
Please check my size guide page. You can check your correct sizing from there :). If the standard sizing guide doesn’t quite fit for you, I offer custom measurements at no extra cost. Just select 'custom size' on the product page when you add to cart and leave your measurements in the notes section when checking out. You can also send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you do plus size?
Yes :) As every item is handmade to order by me – I am able to make any shape or size, please refer to my sizing guide for more info and see the question above for how to request custom measurements.
Do you accept custom orders?
I do! You can book a consultation with me and learn more about the process here. If you have questions about custom orders before booking a consultation, you can email me at email@example.com.
I can also customize styles from my collection that you want to tweak slightly (such as make it longer / shorter / mix certain elements of styles or maybe you want a different color / fabric). Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request, and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Once a custom order has been accepted, I will make a ‘Custom Order’ listing for you on my shop page for you to purchase :).
Can I return my order?
As each order is lovingly handmade to order by me, I cannot offer refunds. To help reduce waste, each item is made-to-order just for you. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your purchase, I offer alterations at an extra cost. More information is available on my returns page in the footer. Thank you for your understanding. :)
