The Process
Collaborate with Emily Westenberger to create your own custom garment. We'll be there to help you realize your idea from sketchbook to city streets.
Step 1
You Dream It
To start the process of creating your custom garment(s), please purchase the initial 30 minute consultation with Emily. If you choose to move forward with a custom design, the consultation fee of $30 will go towards the cost of your garment(s). You will discuss details like budget, style, and fabric during the consultation. She can also walk you through taking your measurements via video call.
After the call, Emily will put together fabric and style options with pricing for your approval.
Step 2
Emily Makes It
Once you decide on your style and fabric, you will submit your 50% deposit before we purchase your approved materials. Emily will send you fabrics and trims for your approval before purchasing.
Upon receipt of your deposit, she will create a sample in cotton fabric of your selected style, so you can see and try it on before she cuts into your fabric and sews the final product. Depending on the fit of the garment, she will send you 1-4 samples to test.
Once we have your fabric and trims in the studio and have finalized the style, Emily will reach out to you for final approval before cutting and sewing the final product.
The remaining 50% payment is due before she ships the final product to you. She will send images of the finished design before shipping.
Step 3
You Treasure It For Years to Come
When your style is complete, Emily will send it back to you via USPS mail. Please note: turnaround time varies, but styles are typically made and sent back within 1-2 months of receiving your request.
